Britney’s X Factor contract is apparently NOT finalized, despite numerous news outlets claiming it is, according to TMZ.com.

Sources connected with Britney tell TMZ, they are “very close” to signing, working out the last few details, but the deal has not been inked.

“We’re told the deal should be signed in the next day or two. The goal is for FOX to make the announcement Monday at the Upfronts in NYC — that’s where the Fall lineup is unveiled.”

The contract will be signed, but not by Britney. It’ll be her conservators, dad Jamie and fiance Jason Trawick doing the inking on behalf of Britney since she’s not allowed to make these decisions on her own.

The judge will then decide if she approves the contract or not, but sources tell TMZ the judge has already given her stamp of approval.
